Rules
Ranknet is a public rank board. No ads, no API keys, no revenue share. Rank is the bid — nothing else.
How ranking works
- Bids are whole US dollars. A new listing starts at US$5 and the maximum is US$999,999.
- Taking first place costs at least US$5 more than the leading bid. Any other rank is taken with US$1 more than whoever holds it.
- Bidding less than first place does not discard your listing: it lands at whatever rank that amount reaches.
- Between two equal bids, the one confirmed first keeps the higher rank.
- The live board holds 30 ranks. If your listing falls below rank 30 it stops showing there: it keeps all of its accumulated time in the all-time rank, stays on its category board, its links keep working, and it returns to the board by raising its bid — paying only the difference.
- Nobody falls off the all-time rank. It measures how long each listing held first place, and time already served cannot be taken away by paying.
- Once the board holds 20 listings or more, each bid's ranking value decays by a small percentage every day. What goes down is the figure that orders the board, not the money: nothing is charged and nothing is refunded, and the all-time rank keeps both what was paid and the time held. Raising your bid restores it and charges only the difference.
- Enter the same link or @handle to raise your own listing. The new bid must beat yours by at least US$1 and you pay only the difference. No one can take your rank by paying that difference.
What you can list
- A product website or an X profile.
- A website is identified by its domain. On the App Store, Play Store, GitHub and similar platforms each product is identified by its path, so two different apps never share a bid.
- Chat and invite links are not accepted: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and the like. The board is for products and profiles, not group chats.
- Sexual content and adult platforms are not accepted.
- URL parameters are discarded. Affiliate, referral and tracking links do not work as a listing identity.
- Link shorteners are not accepted.
After you pay
- A confirmed payment is the only thing that claims a rank. An approval, a cancellation or a browser back button are not enough.
- Your listing goes public and clicks lead to the address you submitted, with no added parameters.
- A rank on Ranknet is advertising: board links are marked as sponsored and do not pass search authority. What you buy is a visible position and its measured clicks, not Google ranking.
- Clicks are counted in aggregate. No buyer information is ever published.
- If a confirmed bid can no longer improve your listing because someone else paid first, it is refunded in full.
